This Guru dutt film unfolds in flashback depicting the zenith of Suresh Sinha's (Guru Dutt) career as a famous film director, his strained relationship with his wife Bina and longing for his daughter Pammi (Baby Naaz). On a rainy night, Suresh meets Shanti (Waheeda Rehman), recognises her potential and decides to promote her career. Shanti goes on to become an acclaimed star leading to hot gossips which result in Pammi's harassment at school. Pammi pleads Shanti to leave Sinha's life to reunite her parents.

The legal action of Sinha's in-laws leads to a ban to talk to his own daughter. Losing Pammi and Shanti together drives Suresh to alcohol and a decline in his career and fortunes. However, Shanti is forced to come back because of a contract with a studio but Suresh's ego and pride becomes a hurdle in his redemption. The remaining film marks the dark fate of Suresh. The film stirs up human emotions like love, jealousy, ego and pride.

Kaagaz Ke Phool was released by Ultra Studios in DVD format. It is rated U, is in Hindi with English subtitles and has a run time of 140 minutes.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
