Bewakoofiyaan is a Bollywood romantic-comedy directed by Nupur Asthana, who had made her debut on Indian TV with Hip Hip Hurray (1998) on Zee Television network. The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Sonam Kapoor, and Rishi Kapoor in the lead roles. Many critics have acclaimed it to be different from run-of-the-mill romantic comedies. Bewakoofiyan (2014) was produced by Yash Raj Films, and the soundtrack was composed by Raghu Dixit, who had previously composed and sung in Quick Gun Murugan and Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge.

Bewakoofiyaan (2014) starts with a happy opening scene where marketing executive Mohit (Khurrana), who has a steady job in an airlines company, is lined for promotion with a car and a new paycheck on its way. Mohit has a steady girlfriend, Mayera (Sonam). She is a corporate financial expert who is successful in her career and also a diva with a weakness for shoes. They are a sweet couple who understand each other, and then the travesty strikes due to recession. Mohit loses his promotion and gains a pink slip, his dreams floating away like pieces of paper in his hand. This entails repercussions on the relationship between Mohit and Mayera, plus there is the issue of Mayeras father, Mr V K Sehgal (Rishi), who will not let his daughter into the hands of the man who does not have a steady job or an income. Dependent on a credit card lifestyle, the recession tests not only love but also patience of the middle-class family members.

Mohit now tries to get Mayeras father on his side by doing things to impress him. It is a tough thing to try, in the already tough times. Bewakoofiyaan (2014) was released in Hindi by Yash Raj Studios in 2014 with a U/A (Universal/Adult) rating. This Nupur Asthana film is available in VCD format as a set of 2 discs.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
